Usbàj̼àf Se (/us/ /ˈbəj̼əf/ [group; community; gang; flock; herd; company; party] [offensive]) is a subtropical Large Town located in Qangyeshÿhpm Hold, Hācsāshu Provence, within the Tauranian United Provinces.

The name Usbàj̼àf Se is derived from the Tauric language, as Usbàj̼àf Se was founded by Ha̋chīy Ya̋ń 'Marissa Ribbonet' Coīńchī Yoīkīb Nīńr Belíhgùru, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Usbàj̼àf Se has a yearly average temperature of 25°C (77°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 28°C (82°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 23°C (73°F). Usbàj̼àf Se receives an average of 195 cm/y (76 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Usbàj̼àf Se covers an area of nearly 7 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3482 m (11423 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Usbàj̼àf Se was founded durring the late 13th century in winter of the year 1184, by Ha̋chīy Ya̋ń 'Marissa Ribbonet' Coīńchī Yoīkīb Nīńr Belíhgùru. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Ha̋chīy Ya̋ń 'Marissa Ribbonet' Coīńchī Yoīkīb Nīńr Belíhgùru.

Usbàj̼àf Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Usbàj̼àf Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Usbàj̼àf Se is buildings are located arround a single crampt paverstone mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Usbàj̼àf Se's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. Unfortuantly, these monster and outlaw focused fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

A look around Usbàj̼àf Se makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had. Everyone quietly goes about their daily business not looking anyone in the eye.

Civic Infrastructure

Usbàj̼àf Se has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Usbàj̼àf Se. Usbàj̼àf Se's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is famous for its stately symmetry, classical elements, and grand appearance. Columns and pillars, such as Corinthian columns, are often seen supporting open structures or porticos. Symmetry is an important feature of this style, with each half of a building mirroring the other. Domed ceilings and windows grace these buildings, with everything placed in a mathematical arrangement.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century Usbàj̼àf Se was struck by a devistating earthquake. The quake brought ruin to Usbàj̼àf Se, which lost 236 people, 289 livestock, and 64 buildings in the earthquake. The day of the quake is remembered by many as Trepidation's Day.
